Ying Chen

Ying Chen is a PHD student in the Department of Computer Science of University of Colorado at Boulder, and works under the supervision of James Martin. She got her B.S. in Information Management from University of Science & Technology of China, and her M.S. in Computer Science from University of Colorado at Boulder.

Her research field is Natural Language Processing, especially Information Extraction. She participated in several competitions related to IE, Time Expression Recognition and Normalization (TERN 2004), Automatic Content Extraction (ACE 2005), Web People Search (SemEval 2007) with consistently high rankings.
