10 additive noise sources (sampled at 8 kHz) which can be used to artificially degrade speech. Noise sources include: Aircraft Cockpit, Automobile Highway, Helicopter Fly-by, Large City, City Rain, Large Crowd, PS-2 Cooling Fan, Sun Cooling Fan, Flat Communication, and White Gaussian Noise. Files are in 16-bit (short), linear, headerless format. | |||

Objective Speech Quality Assessment software. This archive contains Matlab software routines for computing the objective quality between original noise-free speech and processed speech (either coded or enhanced). Objective measures include: Itakura-Saito measure, Log-Likelihood Ratio, Log-Area Ratio, Segmental SNR, and Klatt's Weighted Spectral Slope measure. Included is an overview paper presented at ICSLP-98 which describes quality assessment protocols for speech enhancement design. | |||
